Here are the dates you should have in your calendar!

October 26, 2020 - Preliminary Rulebook Release
The preliminary rulebook will be released on October 26, 2020. The preliminary rulebook contains rules and regulations for the Game and Robot components only. We’ll answer all the questions you have on the rules at the Kickoff, where we will also release the full rulebook. We’ll let you know once the preliminary rulebook is posted through our social media accounts, so stay tuned!
November 2, 2020 - INVICTA 2021 Kickoff
The kickoff officially marks the beginning of the season for the participants. All schools will meet virtually this year. The participant kit, which includes all the motors, control boards, remote control units, batteries and a number of components that are specific to this year’s game, will be presented and sent to each school in the following weeks. The playing field will also be revealed and the game will be explained.
November 16, 2020 - STEMx Workshop on Team Management
During this workshop, you’ll find out the best tools and practices used by professional project managers to organize and deliver projects that have capacity, time and budgetary constraints. You’ll also get intel on where to start when it comes to the CRC Robotics Competition.
November 17, 2020 - STEMx Workshop on the CrcDuino
During this workshop, you’ll find out all you need to know about our new robot control system. Find out what it does, how it works, how to use it and much, much more!
November 23, 2020 - STEMx Workshop on Robot Design

During this workshop, you’ll get all the tips and tricks on how to best conceptualize your robot for the game. This year, we will be putting a special emphasis on everything automation-related.

November 30, 2020 - STEMx Workshop on Robot Construction
During this workshop, you’ll get all the tips and tricks on how to build your robot for this year’s game. We’ll also be able to guide you on how you can still build a great robot even if you’re under certain restrictions due to COVID-19.
December 7, 2020 - STEMx Workshop on Website Design & Content
During this workshop, you’ll find out how to design a website from scratch and how to put it online, since that will be super important when it comes to Submission Day. You’ll also learn Marketing best practices so that you can have influential content on your website and show others how you’ve lived the CRC experience.
TBD - STEMx Workshop on Video
During this workshop, you’ll learn a bunch of neat tricks to help you create a great video for the CRC Robotics Competition. Learn everything from basic tools to camera angles to audio to editing, and much more!
January 25, 2021 - STEMx Workshop on Presentation Skills & Preparation for the Competition

During this workshop, you’ll learn from seasoned volunteers on how to ace those evaluations and how to prepare for the Competition. Even though the Competition is virtual, you’ll be surprised to find out how much still goes in to participating in a 3-day competition!

February 1, 2021 - Website, Video, and Tutorial Submission Deadline
Having the website up and running and uploading the video to YouTube might take several hours. We therefore recommend you not to wait until the very last minute before starting the upload and going through the submission procedure. If you encounter any problems, make sure to send a detailed explanation to [email protected] before the submission date and time.
April 15-17, 2021 - INVICTA 2021 Competition
Join us in the pinnacle of the 2020-2021 CRC Robotics season. After three months of hard work and countless hours of design and construction, over 15 teams will show off what their robot can do. Also, the students will be showcasing their school and accomplishments on their website, in their video and through a unique sales pitch. An exciting, action-packed 3-day event not to be missed!

Workshops are intended to provide specific training to participants in their field of interest. Each subject is covered simultaneously in multiple rooms. Specific details and participant number limits are communicated in the weeks before the workshop.
