How to get to Vanier

The competition takes place in the sports complex, “G” building on the map. Access to the competition site is absolutely free. Take note, the various parking lots on the College property are paid parkings. Closely read the various instructions.

Participants, parents, teachers, and partners,

Welcome to Loops 2017, the 16th annual competition organised by CRC Robotics, in collaboration with the Educational Alliance for Science and Technology (EAST). This year, robots will strive for perfection in a fast-pace game inspired by Shuffleboard. After three months of hard work and countless hours of design and construction, 27 teams will show off what their robot can do. Also, the students will be showcasing their school and accomplishments in their kiosk, on their website, and in their video.

This event would have never been made possible without the organising committees, whose efforts are always greatly appreciated. Thank you to the host school, Vanier College, for welcoming us so dearly. Thank you to the school board for their pedagogical and monetary support. Thank you to our partners for their financial contributions, which have made such a competition affordable. Finally, a special thank you to the teachers, mentors, and parents who believe in our approach to learning; without them, there would be no participants. Good luck!
